What are you doing today for Earth Day? We are going over the steps of recycling again and why is it not only so important for our earth but our animals that use use Mother Earth as their home everyday. When I explained to my Daughters that the trees are some animals beds at nights, it really helped them to understand why we really need to take care of their home. Also once I explained why we need to watch what we are putting into our soil because we grow out organic and natural foods from the ground, they were astonished. We also talked about oil spills with fish and so on. It's so important that our children know why we need to take care of our Earth all year round and not one day out of the year.
Ways you can participate in Mother Day all year round.
- Go thrift shopping, antique shopping, and/ or garage sailing
- Growing your own veggie and/or fruit garden
- Visit your local farms
- Visit your local farmers markets
- Create your own recycle station in your home. ( Post coming soon. )
- Find ways to reuse.
- Start your own simple steps to go green.
- Turn off lights when walking out of the room.
- Don't leave water running.
- Pick up trash.
- Have your own garage sale.
- Donate your own clothes etc.

If your close to stores, shops etc its also great to walk. , bike ride ( leave the car home ). This also gives you talk time, exersize and hopefully you will meet some new friends along the way.
