As a Mother life can become busy yet very rewarding. Becoming a Mother has been the best life blessings that has happened to me. It has taught me how to look at life differently, take a step back and have fun again. It has also given me something new that I am not yet use to and still learning to deal with naturally...that is called anxiety. With anxiety comes stress and tension that does our body no good. I had the honor of visiting the most lovely spa in Grandville, Michigan. I was greeted by the owner of the Massage Eny Spa- Grandville location and toured the facility. I was really impressed with their professionalism by the staff and the building. They made me feel right at home without a doubt.

Since this was my first deep tissue massage I had plenty of questions. During my massage the massage therapist was very professional. She knew every question I drilled her and made sure I felt comfortable. The following day (today) I didn't even feel like I was hit by a train as I heard a lot of people say from other places. I felt amazing from so many as I call them knots being worked on in my shoulder and neck area. As a writer and Mother those are key areas. I can't wait to go back for my next massage. I may even try their facials too.

Mothers Day 2013!

First off, I have to say I am beyond blessed to enjoy my 6TH Mothers Day today. Six years ago I would have never imagined myself where I am at today. But thanks to our beautiful surprise I am the mommy I dreamt of being since I was a little girl Playing dolls and taking my mothers flour and adding water pretending it was baby food. Ha ha ha.

Since the first moment I looked into your deep blue eyes,
I knew I was beyond blessed
You were so tiny when I first heard you little cries
I knew I loved you more and more as you laid on my chest.

From the first time gently touching your tiny hand
They were so soft and calm
I knew this was what God had planned
With your little hand in my palm

My mothers day started off with daddy's little messenger brining flowers in bed. Soon followed by breakfast in bed with a new coffee cup. I have a new obsession with coffee mugs. Don't forget I am still not eating normal foods! Therefore I was not able to enjoy a nicely grilled lunch this year. Next year! But I was spoiled with love, gifts, and family time today. I have the most amazing husband and three daughters that call me Mom, Mama, Mommy.
