Do you ever feel in awe when you look at your children? I sure do all the time.
Motherhood is such a blessing. I may not have had Motherhood advice going into becoming a first time Mother or read those first time What To Expect books either but I feel you have to first hand experience each and ever stage of becoming a Mother has to offer on your own.
Not every one's experience is the same. Not every baby is the same Not every Mother or parent goes through the same trials. We can all think we can give each other parenting and Motherhood advice but in the end can we truly? Share your thoughts in a comment below.
Even though Motherhood/ parenting is different something we do all share is the blessing of a child. That awe moment each time we look at them and think, " that is a little piece of me" and "how did I get so lucky to be a Mom/ Dad." At least that is what I personally think and feel each and every time I watch our three Daughters run in the yard, play sweet together, say sweet "I love yous" and embrace us in their arms.
Motherhood to me is one of my life's biggest blessings. No one told me how Motherhood was going to be or what to do with my first daughter. I went into it arms wide open embracing motherhood.
After all some parenting books may just scare the crap out of you and have so many rules. Maybe that is why I didn't read them. Just live what you've learned to love around you and pass it onto your children.

Being a mum is awesome! I love it and almost wish my children weren't growing up so quickly!
So true!! Those parenting books are scary! And they sure can't tell you everything. And for me whatever they said didn't work for my child! Being a mother is such an amazing gift.
I'm not a mother yet but I love to read different perspectives!
Great post! I agree...motherhood is definitely a blessing. I did read a lot of parenting books when I was pregnant, and had to stop because it was just too overwhelming. Now, I just go with the flow after having 3 kids. :)
I 10000% agree about parenting books. After the first chapter of what to expect when you're expecting I put it away in a closet and never looked at it again. Thank you for sharing this and sending out a gentle reminder to all Mother's / Father's that no one really knows what they are doing, but each days is a blessing.
