First I would like to start off by thanking each and one of you for all your kind thoughts and prayers before I went in for my MRI yesterday afternoon. I couldn't believe all the warm kind messages and comments I received throughout my social media from follower, friends and family. I am so blessed! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
If you follow me via Instagram...which is pretty important right now since I started keeping a ton of my updates on there)The hospital let me borrow a pretty gown dress. I'm kidding! Don't worry I left out the hideous hospital socks that kept my feet warm for the whole two hours I was in the MRI. If you ever have to get an MRI I won't freak you out.....promise. They are not nearly as bad as I thought going in. I was all scheduled for sedation before mine because I was so nervous. Well I ended up not wanting to starve being that I started the new Tone It Up- Bikini Series. Talk about dedication right?! Therefore I did my MRI awake for 2 hours. GO ME! And trust me....I am not a fan of tight closed in spaces. Like seriously I am usually like....get me out of here! Although I was not like that at all.
on't use my personal Facebook too much now, only for my blog's page ) you may have noticed my pretty dress the hospital let me borrow for my MRI. Just
The nurses were so calming and helped me relax because yes I still was nervous as I laid onto the skinny table. Then again knowing there was an opening at each end of the MRI machine helped ease my mind a ton. They stuck my head in the cage and put some headphones on with my choice of country music and sent me in. Oh yes...I wore an eye mask so I could open my eyes still and not see where I was. I highly recommend that. Trust me. I am very thankful I took the nurses advice on that one.
Now your probably thinking why did I get an MRI done that had to be two hours long.
Okay...I had an done because I have been suffering migraines for years that they cannot seem to stop. I also have started having bad back pain and pain on the top of my thighs. Some numbing in my hands to the point where I can't move them and my face. I have become off balance a few times to the point where I have stumbled and even have fallen once. So there is a little insight of why I had an spinal and brain MRI performed. We should hear in about a week.
Again thank you to everyone for your continued prayers and thoughtfulness.
