It's snowing! When we have our first official snow fall of the year, the little kid in me gets excited. Our girls are excited as well. My oldest is hoping to be able to wear her snow pants tomorrow. Although I'm sure we won't have that much snow accumulate tonight. Then again, you never know here in Michigan. There is just something peaceful about snow falling from the sky. I can't imagine having winter with no snow. I can't wait to play in the snow with my daughters!
Speaking of weather, we were so blessed to end our weekend up at the cabin with temperature's hitting 70 degrees! It was pleasant with no T.V. around. I enjoyed working on my knitting while watching the girls play, along with listening to talk radio. I really enjoyed listening to the talk radio station; must be a sign of aging? Sunday we went on some hikes in the woods, and collected pine cones. I love being surrounded by God's beauty. It's such an overwhelming sense of peace. We really enjoyed our weekend, now back to reality!
Stay tuned to see what we do with our pine cones.

Yay for snow!! I'm from Michigan but now live in Georgia. I miss snow for a bit, but I'm sure if I still lived there I'd get over it!

Looks like such fun! Family time with no TV is awesome. I keep saying one of these days we will rent a cabin for a weekend. Hope you and your family had a great time. I'm following you back from the Aloha Friday Blog Hop. Thanks for joining in. :)
eeek snow. How this year flew right by and now back to the cold winter months. I really got to get onto this knitting thing. It will help pass the time once indoors after a walk. Thank you for sharing and for linking up to the Empowered Living hop.
