An Inconvenience or Part of Gods Plan?

As our morning started off to a normal good start, I knew I had to get gas. I usually, almost never get gas on the way to bring Evalyn to school. I just never know if we are going to be running behind those few minutes or not to stop. And like any parent you don't want to be THAT parent with your child in the "tardy" line! Well this morning I knew I had to get gas, ugh! I made sure we were out of the house in time.
We stopped at the first gas station, only to find out the pump wasn't working. There was no "out of order" bag or sign over the pump, seriously?! The other pumps were full of course. Now I was getting flustered! Here I leave on time; the ONE day I decide to get gas on the way to bring her to school, and I'm running behind now! All because this stupid pump became an inconvenience to me! Good thing just down the road on the way is another gas station. We arrive and all the pumps are full but two!!! Take a wild guess!! The two are "out of order"!! So I have to wait. Finally we are off to school after filling the mama van with some go go juice!
We come up to an intersection that we have to go through no matter what way we take to Evalyn school. A NASTY accident had JUST happened! First thing I think to myself again, great another inconvenience! I'm now running late because the gas issue. I sure hope I get Evalyn to school in time! Of course I was yelling at God I won't lie. Why are you giving me a bad morning! I didn't do anything to you yet today! I was good so far today!! Once we arrived to her school and walked her up to the side walk, we heard the sirens and ambulance come to the accident.
On the way back home we have to drive past the accident of course. Fire trucks, police, the ambulance and so on just arrived to the scene. Once I drove by, and had a close up look at the accident, I knew those were not inconveniences. It was God's plan! he didn't mean for me to have a bad morning, but it could of been a heck of a lot worse!! From the looks of where the cars were and how they were damaged, along with the timing I came upon it, it easily could have been me and the girls this morning!! So thank you God for making me get gas this morning when I never get gas on the way to school, let alone your little plan worked!

count your blessings!!

You are so much like me in the way you think. Angry at first for the inconvenience, then I realize what could have really happened! Thanking God for your inconvenience this morning :)
