The Pumpkin Patch Adventure

We couldn't have picked a better day to venture out to the pumpkin patch. Sunny skies and 60 degree temperatures. It is one of our favorite fall activities as a family. We have been going ever since we had our first daughter. In fact, before then. It was our first official date before we became a family! Therefore it has a lot of meaning to us.

We first enjoyed the petting zoo and visiting the animals. Then we were off to Klackleville. Which is a little mock of an old town they built on the farm for the kids.

Of course we can't go to a pumpkin patch without a wagon ride. We took the wagon ride out to the pumpkin fields to pick our pumpkins. The girls really enjoyed the ride, especially Helen. It's always an enjoyment watching the girls find that perfect pumpkin. Good thing we have a strong dad because we like big pumpkins. The girls tried to be big helpers, but some were just too heavy.

Once we chose our perfect pumpkins we jumped back on the wagon and headed over to the corn maze. The girls weren't too thrilled with the corn maze, so we didn't last long in there. it was fun while it lasted. To end the pumpkin patch adventure we stopped by the fire and enjoyed some relaxation time. I definitely needed it and I'm sure they did too.

Whats your favorite thing about the pumpkin patch?
