6 Parenting Quotes To Live By

As many of you by now I am a Mother of three beautiful daughters. I couldn't have thanked God for a better job. Being a Mother there are all sorts of days we encounter. Good days, bad days, sad days, confused days, days where we want to hide in our closets, and days where you want to call your own Mom to say your sorry for all the things you did as a child.

When I am feeling all those kind of days as a Mother I like to think of the quotes below. Reading the parenting quotes help me personally focus on how I can be a better Mother. Or when I am having one of them specific days that I mentioned above. Or even just to remember as a Mother while raising our children.  Enjoy.

  1. "Yelling silences your message. Speak quietly so your children can hear your words instead of just your voice." -L.R. Knost
  2. "All kids need is a little help, a little hope and somebody who believes in them." -Magic Johnson
  3. " Children will not remember remember you for the material things you provided, but for the feeling that you cherished them. -Richard L. Evans
  4. "There is no way to be a perfect parents, but a million ways to be a good one." -anonymous
  5. "What you allow...you encourage." -anonymous
  6. Psalm 117:7  Relax. Let go let God.

That first one really speaks to me. I came from a family that communicates through yelling, and I'm hoping to *not* do that with my daughter. I think you get your point across so much better when you talk in a calm voice. Stopping by from the Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop.
