Day: 5
I am actually excited to share my favorite workout routines with all of you. I feel it is very important to stay on top of our weekly exercise. I like to make an effort to work out 3 days a week. Being a Mother I know that I have to set realistic routines. That way I don't get down on myself. With that being said here are a few of my favorite ways I enjoy working out. Get that I said enjoy? I have to enjoy what I am doing to stick to it. You might want to remember that as well.
- Walking. I am not a runner by any means. Trust me you do not want to see me run. Walking is great for your body. Sticking to a walking routine has helped me lose the baby weight after having my three Daughters. In the cold blistery months I walk on my elliptical inside and when it's warm enough I love walking outside getting fresh air.
- Yoga. I don't know about you but I always get a sore back from lugging my youngest around daily. In and out of her car seat. Holding her when she wants to be held. You get my drift. Motherhood is rough on our backs. That's when I love doing yoga. I even doing a few simple stretches when I wake up in the morning when I feel I need it. Or throughout the day. When I really want that workout in I will do a strict yoga workout. Its great for the mind and body.
- Pinterest. Don't laugh. Pinterest does have some good easy and quick workout routines; Perfect for us busy Moms on the go. Here is my favorite leg workout that I found on Pinterest. I even tried it out for a whole week, and my legs were sore. I even was happy to start seeing results.
