Colored Salt Craft

It's been a while so I figured I'd better post a craft for the kids!

This craft is what I call, The Colored Salt Craft.

Supplies you will need are...

Elmer's glue, Q-tips, salt ( I use sea salt), markers, Cooking pan or tray, A thicker white paper (like card stock).

How to...

  1. Let your child be creative and draw a design on the paper with the markers.
  2. Either trace the marker design with the Q-tips dipped in glue (easier for the younger ones) OR have them trace with the glue bottle.
  3. Place the paper in the tray and sprinkle the salt over the glue.
  4. let dry. The glue turns colorful and then so doe the salt from the markers, giving a neat affect.
Sorry my picture taking of this craft does not do justice!
