6 Years Later....Their Out!!

I have waited a long agony of 6 years to have my wisdom teeth removed. Your probably thinking why did I wait 6 years? Well when I was originally had the appointment I was pregnant with our oldest. Plus they had room to grow in and were pretty strait. I got a little lucky there I guess. Then I had 2 more pregnancies...so I waited. Another reason I waited was because they caused no pain till this past 2 years. I would go a day where I couldn't eat from those darn wisdom teeth that give absolutely no wisdom.

So I finally made that dreadful appointment to get my wisdom teeth removed. That happened to be yesterday. Once again I was lucky enough that my dentist was able to do it. All four were already grown in and just had to be yanked out. Of course that came along with many numbing shots, which made me feel like I just had lip injections. A swollen tongue that was not really swollen. I felt like I looked hideous, but still looked normal just couldn't close my mouth.

The procedure wasn't too bad. Of course I could only feel the pressure of him pulling out my FOUR wisdom teeth. That was of course till the aftermath set in a couple hours later and the numbness went away. I started to think, "what did I do?!" But it is going to be worth having these torturous teeth out. Right?! I'm too afraid to take the pain killers they prescribe. I'm afraid they will make me sick. I have been taking my ibuprofen which seems to be helping...mostly. I might cave in later today.

Now I just want to eat normal food. I managed to juice my breakfast, which consisted of a banana and one apple. Along with relaxing which seems hard to do with 3 kids and a hard working husband.

I'll be happy once the pain subsides and I feel back to my normal self.
