Glitter Easter Eggs DIY

This is a little on the late side, but as we all know the saying, better late than never.  Our youngest two have been fighting a nasty cold that seemed to have lasted 2 weeks long. On the mom side I felt like I was chasing with a tissue, blowing their littles noses, washing hands, and rubbing Vicks on their chests at night. All in the meantime trying my best not to catch the not so fun cold. But lets just admit, us moms are doomed when our kids get sick! But God blessed us and and we all became healthy again right before Easter.

That did not stop us from the fun of easter crafts. We did a little twist this year on coloring easter eggs. I was not into the whole dyes to be honest. I looked into the natural dyes, but the length time with us being sick, I was not in the mood. Therefore we made painted/glitter eggs. They were so easy and fast to make. Not to mention, pretty!

Supplies

  • Paint
  • Paint brushes
  • Hard boiled eggs
  • Modge podge
  • Glitter
  • Bowl for glitter
How to

  1. Hard boil the eggs for about12-20 minutes.
  2. Let the eggs cool down before starting.
  3. Paint half the egg. (Let the paint dry)
  4. Apply modge podge onthe other half of the egg
  5. Roll the half with the glue in the glitter.
  6. Let the eggs dry.

Hola Kaitlyn!
Love the glitter on the easter egg, especially that it's hot pink (one of my fave colors)! Thanks for linking up, I appreciate the love and support! Also happy to hear your girls are over the cold.
