Valentine's Heart Stamps Craft

Lately my daughters and I have been finding crafts that are cost effective or should I say "thrifty crafting" and using items we already have in our homes. With that being said, our latest craft was; valentines heart stamps. It's age appropriate for my 3 year old to do on her own with supervision. Therefore I recommend it for 3 years of age and older. Younger children may just need some help. It's also great bonding.

Valentines Heart Stamps
All you need is paint, paper and an empty toilet paper roll.
Take the empty toilet paper roll and shape it into a heart with your hand.
(It helps to hold the crease with your fingers in it while stamping on the paper)
Dip the empty toilet paper roll into the paint and start stamping away.
(It took us a few tries to start making a "good" heart. That's where we learned how you hold the empty toilet paper roll may make a difference.)
Let the paint try, and you have pretty hearts.

My daughters loved this craft and we hung our hearts up on our chalkboard wall in our kitchen for a Valentines Day decorations.  The hearts also add a nice touch for making Valentines Day cards.

Godd Bless
