Don't get me wrong I am usually really super good about no use of my cell phone while driving in my car.
Why am I taking the stand/pledge on my blog? I am because it needs to be known that this is a serious problem out there on our roads. Today I have encountered that problem myself with my Daughter in the car with me while driving on our way back home after school drop off for my older two Daughters. The other driver was texting and driving. Thankfully I was very alert with my surrounding and was eyeing the guy on his phone texting. Though I honestly thought he would start paying attention to the road. He did not, but maybe a split second. In the end I was ran off the road, blaring on my horn at the "texting driver", and had to slam on my breaks leaving my hot coffee all over myself.
I am thankful my Daughter and I are okay because it could have so much worse. I am thankful my car is okay too.
If you ever see a reckless driver because they are on their cell phone texting or talking do not hesitate to report them.
