Beautiful Fall Day

Nice days are becoming fewer in between now that it's fall here in Michigan. The sun is slowly fading into the grey skies, along with the dropping of temperatures. Therefore I knew today we had to take advantage of this 62 degree temperature and sunny skies. Of course it takes a while now for it to warm up, which is okay because Evalyn is in school. So during the day me and the two little ones found activities to occupy us.

  After picking Evalyn up from school, we came home and rushed to play outside before I had to start cooking dinner. The girls were able to ride their bikes and scooters. But whats more fun in the fall than playing in the leaves! That of course, consists of me raking the pile of leaves for them to jump in. As I stood back and watched two of my daughters playing in the leaves and the littlest one bundled in her stroller, I couldn't help but think of all the memories we were making. It brings me back to my memories of raking leaves with my parents and playing in the piles as a child. Now I am blessed mother and thank God I can play in the pile of leaves with my own daughters now!
