Work Out With Me! Tips Videos

One of my goals is to get into shape. I meet my goal weight, but that does not mean I am finished. While losing the weight I did not tone my body as much as I had hoped. Lets be honest I am a Mother of three. I gave birth three times. That means I went through three pregnancies and gained plenty of unwanted weight.

I am going to be open and honest with all of you ladies and Ma ma's out there and hope you will be someday too. Here is where my weight started, where my weight ended with all three pregnancies, and where I am at now. I am showing you this because I want you to know you can do it too.

  • Starting weight 119 pounds in the beginning of my first pregnancy. (Giving I was only 17 in high school.)
  • I had gained 65 pounds with my first, 44 with my second and 65 with my third pregnancy leaving my at 184 pounds.
  • My ending weight now is 126 pounds. Which my goal weight. Why not 125? Because that was to cliche.
I'll be completely honest with my first two Daughters the weight pretty much fell off. I worked out here and there to tone up for swim suite season. But my third Daughter, it took a little longer and more of my actual dedication. I had to find time to work out, and work out routines that worked. Pinterest became my best friend along with home DVDs because the gym membership was longer an option. Seriously who thought I had time to sneak out of my house at the end of the evening let alone the energy?

What I eat.
I really watch what I eat. No fast food. No junk food. Who needs them anyways? Their full of chemicals. I love my eggs, salads, fish, fresh fruits, fresh veggies and soon. What foods do you really enjoy when you eat healthy?

Working out.
I have always enjoyed working out. I have always been active in sports since a young child. I honestly have even had people come to me and ask me to help them lose weight and help them make a plan! I was shocked because I didn't think I was that good. Still don't! Ha ha. Anyways... Workout that I really love and think we should all be doing.
  • YOGA- I love yoga. I can't express this enough how great it is for your body and mind. Mommy's this is great to even do with your little ones. I personally love it because it stretches out my body. Since having my three Daughters everything is so tight. And when everything muscle is tight, you are destine to pull something while working out. Do you ever notice some work out instructors use yoga moves for stretching before and after workouts?! Yoga can strengthen your body as well. I am a beginner still but who cares!
  • WALKING. This is how I lost a ton of my post pregnancy weight with all three. I am not a runner and never have been. I probably look like a floppy chicken when I run, seriously. Walking as so many benefits. You van even go walking as a family, while your kids ride their bikes. I try to talk everyday or at least three days a week for 30-40 minutes.
  • CLEANING: I schedule all my heard cleaning activities in one day. Monday! Silly right? Not really, this way I get a nice workout in while cleaning. Two in one, and then you have your daily workout later. It's like getting two workouts in one day. Not so silly now is it?
  • PINTEREST! I love pinterest to find workouts. You can find some really nice and quick workouts on that site. You can search that target area you want to work on or your whole body. I have found pins that I personally really like. I will be sharing the with you every week with our workout sessions. I hope you join along. Above I already shared one of my favorite leg workouts. I try all pinned workouts before sharing them on m blog. I felt this one a ton in legs. I started seeing results after a week.
  • ZUMBA-I have recently started to fall for zumba. Do you do zumba? I do it in my own home thus far. Again, afraid of others to see my moves. Another home DVD. If you love to dance, music, and work out like me, zumba is for you!
